In November of 2006, after years of ignoring God and nearly destroying myself, God saved me and I began following Jesus at the age of 23. Less than two years later, God called me to begin preparing for pastoral ministry. After 2 years of intense training and heavy church involvement, I became frustrated that something was missing from my walk with Jesus and from my service to Him. That’s when God began to lead me on a journey of rediscovering the faith that changed my life.

That’s basically what this blog is about; the journey. It’s about learning, growing, embracing the new, seeking what’s been lost, and publicly displaying how little I have it all figured out. I don’t have many answers, I question just about everything, and life has admittedely left me with a bit of a proverbial limp. But if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this: Jesus saves.

Ultimately, in the words of Mark Driscoll, I’m just “A nobody trying to tell everybody about Somebody”. And truth be told, there’s nothing else I’d rather do.
